Work in healthcare is very demanding and requires extensive expertise not only in the provision of health services, but also in the management and administration of the organization. My MBA in Healthcare Management broadened my overview of how healthcare works in other countries. As the head of the Economics and Budget Department of one of the largest Slovak hospitals, I really appreciated that the lecturers not only focused on economic, financial and personnel management in the hospital, but also provided us with a new marketing perspective on healthcare. From several modules, I presented to the hospital management recommendations for changes that will help not only our patients, but also medical staff. I also really liked the module Effective Self-management and Time Management, which focused its content on the student as a person who can optimize the use of their personal and work time through small changes. I evaluate the study very positively, at a high professional level, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to work on themselves and continue their education.
