Ing. Miroslav Sponer, Ph.D.
He graduated from the University of Economics, majoring in economic policy, specializing in international finance. In 1999 he defended his doctoral thesis at Masaryk University on the topic of the Monetary Concept of the EU. During the years 1999–2005, he headed the education department at Českomoravská stavební spořitelna. Since 2006 he has been engaged in consulting and teaching activities. He cooperates with leading domestic counselling and educational institutions. In his consulting activities, he focuses primarily on strategic management, setting up personnel processes, training and development of employees. As part of his teaching activities, he focuses on the development of managerial skills and knowledge in the field of corporate finance.
Until 2017, he worked at the Department of Finance, Faculty of Economics and Administration, Masaryk University. During the years 2017–2018, he lectured at the Karel Engliš University, where he headed the Department of Management. He focuses on strategic and financial management of companies, international finance. In his research and publishing activities, he focuses on evaluating corporate performance, monetary policy and the international financial system.
