International trade policy

The aim of this course is to go deeper into the international trade issues in order to understand the difference between government’s import substitution strategy and export orientated trade strategy, to examine tools of trade policy, to discover reasons for protectionism and to study protectionist policy. How the current international economic exchange system works, what are the most important liaisons and principles, and why financial crises happen.
